To provide or perform religious support for all authorized personnel of NAS Jacksonville, FL during peacetime and across the full spectrum of war in order to support the command in the facilitation of the free exercise of religion. To advise the command in matters of religion, morals, morale, and ethical issues in order to support the unit mission.

Located at the corner of Mustin and Birmingham Roads are two historic chapels: St. Edward's (Roman Catholic) and All Saints' (Protestant). A wing of offices, meeting rooms and a social hall connect these buildings. A modern religious education complex is located behind the chapels.

The Religious Ministries Department coordinates religious, social, and educational events for over 5,000 people every month. Special celebrations should be scheduled well in advance: Roman Catholic weddings - four months; all other weddings -- at least two months.
